We are all here because of past pains. Some chose to live in the past everyday and repeat their mistakes over and over. The true power of dating is to let go of the pain and the past. Learn to trust and love yourself. This is an on going, everyday pledge you must chose to make for YOU. If you find yourself meeting the same types of people, then take a step back. Look towards you and your choices. You will find the answers inside yourself and within your pain. You are allowing yourself not to be loved and to love openly. We all do it because we are human and imperfect. What a world it would be if everyone were perfect, ugh! Say out loud to yourself: "I am a great and beautiful person and I love myself. I deserve to find a wonderful person who will love me as I love myself and who I will love in return."
Open the door and take the blinders off your eyes. He/She is there but you have decided NOT to let them love you with assumptions based on your past. Think about all the wonderful people that you have let slip through your life for this reason or that reason. We are to blame, no one else.
We have the power to be loved and to love. Just trust in yourself and let the assumptions, stories and whatever else, possibly your past, die there in the past. Today is a new day and open up to all that is good. Compliment someone for what is good about them and why you like them. You will be amazed at how your life will change. Positive outlooks attract positive people. Gloom and doom attract just that.
Haven't we punished ourselves enough? I am no different and have the same fears and pain but I know that I am the one creating it. I don't blame others instead I just forgive others and myself. Love is putting oneself out there in trust like the infant who is learning to walk. Slow or fast steps, just walk or run do it at your own pace. But learn to trust yourself and others again.
