Honesty is always the best Policy!

Be polite and answer with a yes or no. Any answer is better than nothing even if you are saying "Not Interested." If you are interested, then pretend they are right across from you. Ask and answer away!

Be honest. They will eventually know if your picture is 4 years old, you are really married, or are a brunette, etc. Be honest since you would expect that of them. Honesty is the best policy.

Be timely. Answer the responses within 3-5 days. If you are swamped with responses then freeze your account until you are caught up answering those who have already written to you. Answer them all since they spent their valuable time to say "Hello" and deserve the same respect back.

Check your spelling, grammar, and punctuation by composing the ad in your Word program first. Then just cut and paste it to the text box. Don't use all CAPITALS, since this is considered SHOUTING and also very hard on the eyes. Use upper and lower cases.

Talk to them and let them know who you are now. Let go of your past since it has already happened. Why bring the past into your future?
